Adding the titleBegin by importing the 3 words and the matching word end stills. |

Place the 3 TGA end stills on tracks 6,7 and 8 as shown above then use the motion controls to position the words on screen as shown in the demo video at the top of the page. Then push the 3 stills along the timeline to make space for the three word animations, these are placed one after another on separate tracks as shown below. The TGA end stills are then pulled back to the end of each word animation. Drag out the end of each TGA end still so they all extend to the end of the composition. |

The final step is to copy and paste the motion position settings from the TGA stills to the word animations. As the words write to the screen the matching TGA end still keeps the word on screen until the end of the title. |

To add the pen is very simple, just place the pen animations directly above the word animations and copy/paste the motion settings to them from the word animations. |

If you want to extend the pen duration so it remains on screen after the title is written then add the 'Pen.tga' after the last pen animation as shown above. 'Pen.tga' is a still image of the gold pen, use the motion control to position it. You can also use this same pen to fill in the gap between words that are spaced some distance apart by setting a motion keyframe at the end of one word and another at the start of the next word, then you have the pen smoothly moving between words. |

Adding particle effects to a higher track works in the same way as already explained except to note they are of a slightly longer duration than the words to allow them to gradually fade out as the next word is written. So put them on the highest tracks as shown here. |
