Adding the titleWe suggest you start a new project for the title and import the previous project as a new sequence, placing it on the first track of the new project. Right click on this track and select "Protected" from the pop up menu. It is now safe from accident. Then add some tracks for the title, we started numbering these title tracks from number one to keep things as simple as possible while making this tutorial. Having done that, import the three word animations together with their matching tga end stills
What is an "end still"? An "end still" is the last frame of the word animation. Placed on the timeline following the word animation, being a still image, it can be easily dragged out along the timeline so that the word that has been written remains on screen for the duration of the title.
| Place the stills on tracks 1, 2 and 3 all starting at the same time. So initially you will see all three characters overlapping each other in the preview.
Positioning the end stillsDrag the 2D Editor track effect to each of the tracks containing the stills. The tracks, not the clips. A colored strip will appear above the track name, this allows access to the effect's controls. |
| Right click on the colored strip and select 'Edit' to open the 2D Editor control panel. | ||

When the editor opens don't forget to select "Do not use Key frames" -------> | ![]() |
| Now you can use Editor controls to layout the words to your liking. | ![]() |
Next we will add the word animations. Prepare some space by pushing the stills along to the right. |
